DR. AMBEDKAR NATIONAL PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Ministry of Urban Development has allotted approximately 4.00 acres of land ( comprising bungalow nos.15, 15-A, 17,19 & 21 on Janpath, New Delhi) for setting up the Dr. Ambedkar National Public Library. So for physical possession of only three bungalows (i.e. 15, 19 & 21 Janpath) have been handed over to the Foundation.

The then Minister (SJ&E)/Chairman (DAF) had laid the foundation stone for Dr. Ambedkar National Public Library at 15, Janpath, New Delhi, on 26.02.2004 in a function held at the office of the Foundation.

The Foundation is actively pursuing the matter with the Lok Sabha Secretariat & the Ministry of Urban Development for taking physical possession of remaining two bungalows.
